Hoping for Results. Good Results

Tomorrow, I have an appointment at the Spine Institute. A long overdue appointment, I must add. I hurt my back/hip tubing this summer at the Ozarks. It was bumpy that day (made Dave seasick) and the way I sat in the tub, I got jammed in. Every wave we hit, jammed me deeper in the tube. It hurt for a few weeks but then felt better. Then, Thanksgiving weekend, the day of the state football championship, I did something to hurt it again. I blame Christmas decorations :) Regardless, it has hurt since then. I finally broke down and went to the doctor in March. She ordered back and hip x-rays. I was hoping this would give me an answer of what was wrong. Well, the x-rays were "clear" which meant nothing was broken. I could have diagnosed that! She told me to wait it out, thinking it would get better. Of course, nothing got better. So she referred me to the Spine Institute. For tomorrow. I want to think positively - that they will find what's wrong and make it better. But then, I think back to last summer and this:

My allergy testing. 144 injections. Which told me that I am allergic to nothing. NOTHING. But didn't explain all of my sinus problems, sneezing, itching, scratchy voice, etc. So, needless to say, I am a little hesitant about tomorrow. Worried that I will go in there and they won't be able to find anything wrong. And then I will cry. Real hard.

Back to school!

The girls start back to school tomorrow and we are all so excited! It took 40 minutes for them to get settled and stay in bed. They also decided to sleep in their back to school outfits. They are freshly bathed so why not? One less thing to do in the morning :)

As we drove to the eye doctor this morning (my glasses are still broken) I asked them to set goals for themselves for the school year. Kelsey decided that she wants to become more organized. I couldn't agree more! I would also like to see her practice her math facts more. We'll see. Kaitlyn wants to learn more words. When pressed further, she wants to learn how to read and write more words. Perfect work for first grade!

Look for photos tomorrow.
